It’s the end of the year and time for Classroom Awards! How do you recognize your students at the end of the year? Last year, I wanted to recognize my students for their individual efforts and unique personalities. I created my Classroom Awards & Certificates for Primary Students and they are available in Chevron, Stripes, Big Dots, Mini Dots, and Gingham.
I love having the families join us as I give out these awards. I always describe the award and tell why I have chosen the particular student who is receiving it. The students LOVE trying to guess who is going to receive each award! This year after our awards ceremony, I had the sweetest grandfather thank me for doing individualized awards. He said he knew it meant so much for his grandson to be recognized as the “Marvelous Mathematician” and he could see what a positive classroom environment we have! What is your favorite way to recognize your students at the end of the year?
Isn’t kt so frustrating!?!? I added bloglovin’ to my sidebar a few months ago too (and I’m now following you)! I’ll definitely need to check out networked blogs! Thanks!
